    I am in the uk, I tried to connect to a Z3 1997

    The Z3 has a round plug with male pins

    The Maxisys also has a round auxillary plug with male pins so I wasn't able to scan it.

    Can anyone shed anyone light

     There should be two round plugs under the hood. One on either side. Check on the opposite side to the one you found, the obd plug should be there
